Job Description
Keep industry moving From teardown to final verification, you'll be the specialist who restores AC and DC motors through 15,000HP and 13,800v to dependable service. Picture taking a unit from a customer spec sheet, stripping it down, measuring with micrometers, rebuilding, and proving it on our AC/DC Test Panels—then handing back a motor that performs like new. How you'll contribute Dismantle and conduct detailed inspections on AC/DC electric motors, noting conditions and tolerances. Assemble and test repaired motors to meet or exceed specifications. Perform electrical and mechanical testing with: Meggers Low OHM Meters Micrometers AC/DC Test Panels Hi-Potential (HiPot) Tester Surge Comparison Tester Bar to Bar Tester Document and record all readings/measurements in tablet-based job packets. Adhere to all Customer requirements and specifications. Team and leadership This position reports to the Mechanic Team Leader and collaborates with technicians focused on diagnostics, machining, and final QA.
