Apply Overview Position Type Seasonal Apply Description Position Summary:
Receives, weighs and tests grain delivered to Carbon Green BioEngery to ensure grain meets acceptable quality requirements to achieve optimal levels of ethanol production. The Scale Operator will be responsible for various quality assurance projects and data collection under the direct supervision of the Grain Buyer.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Weigh all in-bound and out-bound trucks and direct trucks to the proper location for loading/unloading within the plant. Inspect and grade all grain delivered to Carbon Green BioEnergy to ensure quality and it meets specifications outlined in the purchase contract. Work with Grain Accountant to assure accuracy of corn ticket information. Keep area around the probe, scale room, and blender pump area clean and presentable at all times. Provide customer service to farmers and elevators for bids and general questions. Coordinate with shipping and receiving Personnel and Control Room to maintain inventory levels and loading/unloading efficiency. Follow plant policy procedure programs required to ensure plant safety. Perform selected duties of the Administrative Assistant and office staff as needed. Other duties as assigned to accomplish the safe and timely operations within the plant.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Must have proficiency with basic office software. Knowledge on Grain Accounting software is preferred, but not required. Must have effective oral and written communication skills. Be willing to attend grain grading school once per year. Must have the ability to multi-task.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will experience repetitive motions, grain dust, and continuous PC use. The employee may be occasionally exposed to high noise environments. Share job details to
