Madison Heights, MI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Qualifications Safe work practices Defect detection (quality control) Quality standards in production Hand tools Full Job Description Looking for an individual to fill an entry level position in the motor division with 1 to 3 years minimum experience preferred. Must have your own Tools.
Candidate will be responsible for:
Inspecting servo motors physically and electrically Disassembly, cleaning, inspecting and evaluation of induction motors, spindle motors and servo motors Perform preventative maintenance Ensure all evaluated items are inventoried and stored properly Utilize test equipment Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified Perform quality checks to ensure the product meets quality standards Use of basic hand tools and ability to learn industry specific and specialized tools Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements:
Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication skills, ability to work independently or as a team, basic knowledge of electricity and electronics, lifting requirements of 30-50 lbs. Regularly perform repetitive tasks. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
