Shift Location:
Warren, MI Pay:
$26.00-$28.00/hour, with additional flexibility for highly qualified candidates; $3k sign on bonus; benefits are effective after 30 days
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30

Direct Hire Position Overview A leading aerospace manufacturing company in Warren, MI is seeking an experienced CMM Operator to join its first-shift manufacturing team. This position plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of production parts and tooling. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, schedule-driven manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CMM professional looking for a stable position with a company that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Operate CMM equipment to inspect production parts and tooling for calibration. Perform dimensional inspections and ensure products meet established specifications. Assist in developing and implementing an operator self-verification program in accordance with AS9162 requirements. Train production operators on the self-verification process and procedures. Read and follow work instructions, process procedures, and inspection requirements. Properly use precision measuring and product-handling equipment. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation. Organize and prioritize work to meet production schedules. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of CMM operation and inspection experience. High school diploma or GED required. Strong understanding of dimensional inspection and precision measurement. Ability to read and understand process procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation. Knowledge of proper material/product handling practices. Basic computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, schedule-driven manufacturing environment. Strong commitment to safety and quality. Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus.
Pay Details:
