Job Title:

Mechanical and Electrical Inspector Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical and Electrical Inspector to join our team. This role involves the inspection and testing of complex mechanical equipment and electrical/electronic apparatus to ensure conformity to manufacturing standards. You will be responsible for making critical decisions regarding acceptable quality and determining reasons for rejects and disposition. Responsibilities Conduct mechanical and electrical inspections of complex equipment and apparatus. Set up and test electronic components for compliance with manufacturing standards. Record types and quantities of defects observed. Make decisions about acceptable quality levels and determine reasons for rejects. Communicate defect information and corrective actions to suppliers and buyers. Work from complex drawings and specifications. Review and generate inspection documents. Utilize a wide range of precision measuring instruments and testing devices. Perform other duties as designated by the supervisor. Essential Skills 10,000 hours of experience in inspection principles and procedures. Proficiency in using inspection instruments and understanding their purposes. Knowledge of manufacturing methods and inspection techniques. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Additional Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in electrical and mechanical assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in quality control processes. Electromechanical testing capabilities. Skill in soldering and crimping. High School Diploma or GED required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $51200.00 - $59425.00/yr.
