  • Based on Experience Join a Growing Precision Manufacturing Team We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join a precision machining and manufacturing company in Maple Grove.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with inspection experience who enjoys working with tight tolerances, precision measuring tools, and high-quality machined parts. You'll perform in-process and final inspections, work with a variety of measurement equipment, and receive training on advanced inspection technologies such as Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs). Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections on precision machined parts Verify dimensional accuracy using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Apply GD&T principles during inspection activities Complete first article inspection reports Document inspection findings and quality results Support inspection of CNC machined components Communicate quality concerns with machinists and production personnel Learn and operate CMM equipment through company-provided training Assist with continuous improvement and quality initiatives Required Qualifications At least 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment Minimum 2 years of experience using micrometers and calipers Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience inspecting machined parts Working knowledge of GD&T Strong attention to detail and documentation skills Comfortable working a long-term 2nd shift schedule Preferred Qualifications Experience using optical comparators Experience inspecting CNC machined parts First article inspection experience Previous machining experience with an interest in quality inspection Familiarity with CMM equipment or willingness to learn Why Join Us?
