Job Description
Programs and operates precision measurement equipment to perform dimensional inspections and verify product conformance to engineering specifications. Job Requirements 3-5 years of experience in metrology, quality inspection, dimensional inspection, CMM programming, or a related field. Proficiency with PC-DMIS software. Experience programming and operating CMM equipment. Experience operating portable CMMs and associated measurement software. Experience performing dimensional layouts and inspections. Experience interpreting engineering specifications and dimensional requirements. Experience analyzing measurement data and inspection results. Preferred Skills Associate's degree in a technical field. Experience with Keyence scanning systems. Experience with multiple precision measurement and metrology systems. Experience preparing dimensional inspection reports. Job Responsibilities Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS. Operate Keyence scanners, portable CMMs, and other precision measurement equipment. Perform dimensional layouts and inspections to verify product conformance. Inspect components against engineering specifications and dimensional requirements. Collect and analyze measurement data. Prepare dimensional inspection and measurement reports. Document inspection results and identify dimensional nonconformances. Support metrology and quality inspection activities using applicable measurement systems and software.
