Job Description

Company Description Terra Star, LLC is a manufacturer of high-density polyethylene conduit and pipe for use in telecommunications, utilities, broadband and infrastructure across the nation. Our leadership team has over 200 years of collective experience. Position Description Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible to inspect product during the production process using calipers, micrometers, pi tape, and a weight scale as well as other "type" tests as required
  • Ensure that the product meets customer specifications, immediately reporting any defects to the immediate supervisor
  • Apply knowledge of product standards and make decision on product status and mark defect type when observed
  • Responsible for documenting all quality dimensions of product & production related information within a neat, accurate and timely manner
  • Use knowledge of required standards and specifications to inspect and tag reels
  • Test all incoming raw materials and record date of inspection
  • Maintains neat and orderly work area
  • Comply with, support, and promote all Terra Star safety policies
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by the immediate Supervisor Position Skills and Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment desired with a least one year of experience in quality inspection procedures. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of laboratory and inspection equipment, safety and quality standards, be reliable, self-motivated and a quick learner. This is a day shift position, 8a-8p on a 2,2,3 schedule.

$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
