Job Title:

Quality Inspector Job Description As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that parts, assemblies, tooling fixtures, and materials meet customer requirements, company specifications, and quality standards. You will set up, operate, inspect, test, and adjust new and reworked tools, dies, gauges, jigs, and fixtures for conformance to engineering drawings and specifications. Additionally, you will maintain, process, and update both electronic and hard copy reports, records, and statistics in a confidential manner. Responsibilities Inspect machined parts, welds, components, assemblies, and materials to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines such as Military Standards, ASTM, and ANSI. Provide electronic and hard copy reports of inspections and notify appropriate parties, including project engineers. Observe testing and provide oversight as necessary to verify compliance with requirements. Interact with regulatory agencies and customers during audits and review of company inspection and calibration activities. Monitor and verify quality in accordance with control procedures. Observe all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations during business operations. Work safely in accordance with established operating procedures and practices. Essential Skills Experience in inspection, quality inspection, and weld inspection. Proficiency in MT (Magnetic Particle Inspection), PT (Penetrant Testing or Liquid Penetrant Inspection), and VT (Visual Testing). CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) certification. Familiarity with AWS codes, ASTM standards, and Mil-Standard. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. Level 2 Certification. Additional Skills & Qualifications An associate's degree, trade school certificate, military training, or equivalent in quality inspections, or certification by ASQ or AWS. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications, and perform mathematical computations. Good communication skills to effectively interface with all levels of employees, including management. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Basic competence in the use of computers. Ability to work independently or in a team environment, with the flexibility to work extended hours if required. Experience with DOE quality assurance program requirements, nuclear material, and

is desirable. Nondestructive testing experience on various metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts, and assemblies using methods such as penetrant and hardness testing is desirable. Weld shop and/or machine shop experience is desirable. Ability to obtain and maintain DoD clearance is desired. Work Environment This position is onsite at the Tupelo, MS facility. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shannon, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
