Join our team as a QA/QC Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our products. You'll collaborate with a dynamic team to conduct inspections, perform tests, and analyze data, all while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help us maintain our reputation for delivering exceptional products to our customers. Job Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and final products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Perform weld inspection on fabrication according to applicable Code and project specifications Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures to maintain product consistency and reliability. Document and report any quality issues or discrepancies and collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve them. Perform routine calibration and maintenance of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Analyze test data and prepare detailed reports on product quality for management review. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for non-conforming products. Ensure adherence to all safety and regulatory requirements during testing and inspection processes. Participate in internal and external audits to verify compliance with quality management systems and standards. Keep up to date with industry best practices and advancements in quality assurance and control technologies. Train and mentor production staff on quality control procedures and standards to promote quality awareness and continuous improvement. Job Requirements - AWS CWI or
SNT-TC-1-A VT
Level II certification required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of QA/QC principles, processes, and standards. Proficient in using quality management software and tools. Familiarity with
ISO 9001
standards and other relevant quality certifications. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with statistical analysis tools and methods. Strong organizational and time management skills.
