The position is a field technician, working on construction sites. You will be required to perform testing of soils and concrete, and observation of reinforcing steel, masonry and general construction practices at commercial sites. Our technicians must complete daily field reports, interact with engineers and general contractors. The work required is outdoors and requires physical labor; but you will also need to write reports and provide clear accurate verbal descriptions. We need technicians who can easily lift 50 pounds and be able to write up reports daily. We would like to hire people who take their job seriously and want to be treated as professionals. We require a clean driving record with valid driver's license. We also require occasional nights and weekend work.
