Job Description
The Quality Control Technician I is responsible for the basic daily functions in the Quality Department. 2nd shift could train on 1st shift To apply click the link below: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/932QFZF
POSITION DUTIES
- Perform tire/material testing as required
- Perform tire cutting/measuring as required
- Able to operate forklift and gripper attachment.
- Mold room surveillance and curing press setup.
- Scheduling cure analysis check-tire preparation and measurement.
- Able to identify deviations from approved procedures and take appropriate corrective actions to keep production process within specified tolerances.
- Report all discrepancies to Manager or Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance
- Coordinate with production/maintenance/engineering teams on items requiring corrective action.
- Monitor and record deviations from specifications. Report to QC Manager with data.
- Perform Quality Audits related to the tire retreading process.
- Monitor and perform calibration as scheduled. Update calibration logs.
- Must be familiar with entire retreading process.
- All other duties as assigned.
