Willow Tex, LLC, located in Mount Airy NC, is the manufacturer of IZIT Leather, a premium leather alternative. Willow Tex is currently seeking to fill the position of QC/Inspection Clerk. The Team Member will be responsible for a variety of tasks including Quality Inspection and Quality Testing. Candidate must be willing to train in several areas relating to other areas of quality, as well as the preparation and assistance of shipping customer products. Absolutely must be a team player! This position requires excellent eyesight with exceptional attention to fine detail. Must adhere to strict quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work independently, and as part of a team. The applicant should be self-motivated, a self-starter, reliable, and dependable with a high degree of honesty, ethics, and integrity. Should be able to multi-task, manage time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately. Must have excellent communication skills and be willing to perform in a positive team-oriented environment. Will be expected to always follow standard operating procedures and practice safe work habits, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently required to stand for long periods of time. In addition to standing and walking, the frequent physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, balancing, stooping, crouching, handling, grasping, repetitive motions, and using eye, hand, and foot coordination. The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and/or move up to 75 pounds with assistance.
