Job Description
QUALITY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. 3RD SHIFT POSITION. 11PM TO 7
30AM Requirements:
Dependable 2+ years Quality Experience High school diploma or equivalent GED Able to sit, stoop or stand for periods of time with ability to lift approximately 35 lbs. Able to read, write and communicate in English with ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering drawings Demonstrated ability and knowledge of measurement, tolerance measurement systems and quality inspection methods Work in cooperation with all departments as the Quality Representative on issue resolution Computer skills - Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferredJOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct quality inspection of parts and systems in production area.
- Test and inspect products at various stages of the production process.
- Use gauges and other devices to confirm conformity to product standards.
- Maintains related inspection files.
- Support other quality department employees in their activities.
- Responsible for First Article Inspections, In-process interval Quality Checks, and Final Inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of all gages used for part verification.
- Knowledge and understanding of all Microsoft Office programs.
- Knowledge of product, processes, and basic knowledge of quality management systems.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities related to product, process and/or the system.
- Identify and/or record any problems relating to the product, process, and the management system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Verify the implementation of solutions.
- Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
