We are looking to add a motivated Quality Control Inspector to our team. This position is responsible for the evaluation of customer returns (RMA's), incoming inspection, first article and final inspection. What will you do? On any given day, your responsibilities would include: Ensuring that all incoming material and accompanying documentation from suppliers conform to specifications and requirements. Providing production floor support for in-process and final inspection as required. Evaluating customer returns (RMA's), logging them and communicating findings. Performing and maintaining files for First Article amd Final Inspection. Working cross functionally with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations and Customer Service. Maintaining inspection fixtures and gauges and ensuring proper calibration status of these items as required. Creating and recording SPC files to capture inspection data. You are a great fit if you have the following: Ability to program MicroVu vision system for part inspection. High level communication skills; both verbal and written (email). Ability to read and understand engineering drawings (including GD&T). Ability to use all common inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, comparator, go/no-go gauges, etc. Strong computer skills including the ability to use common Microsoft Office software. Good organizational mind set. Previous manufacturing experience (required). High school or equivalent education level and previous quality/inspection experience (required) Ability to shift priorities as required. Why should you join our team?
