Job Description
Perform advanced CNC machine setup, programming, operation, and troubleshooting for Citizen and Swiss-style lathe equipment. Job Requirements High school diploma or GED. Advanced knowledge of CNC programming language. Experience with Citizen CNC lathes and/or Swiss-style CNC machines. Knowledge of machining practices and manufacturing processes. Experience performing CNC machine setup. Experience selecting and setting up tooling and fixtures. Experience adjusting tooling and work offsets. Experience troubleshooting and editing CNC programs. Preferred Skills Advanced manufacturing or machining training. CNC or machining certification. 3+ years of manufacturing and machining experience. Experience developing CNC programs. Experience using QMS databases. Experience using MAX systems. Experience using SPC databases and statistical process control systems. Job Responsibilities Set up and operate advanced CNC machining equipment. Program CNC machines for production operations. Select and install appropriate tooling and fixtures. Adjust tooling and work offsets. Troubleshoot existing CNC programs. Perform significant edits to current CNC programs. Develop basic CNC programs. Operate Citizen and Swiss-style CNC lathes. Use QMS, MAX, and SPC systems as required. Support machining operations in accordance with production and quality requirements.
Pay:
