Job Description

Quality Assurance Technician Join a growing food manufacturing team committed to quality, food safety, and operational excellence. As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will perform inspections, audits, testing, and documentation activities to ensure products meet food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. You'll work closely with production teams to verify GMP compliance, monitor sanitation programs, conduct product evaluations, and help maintain an audit-ready facility. Responsibilities Perform quality, food safety, GMP, and HACCP verification checks. Conduct pre-operational inspections, sanitation audits, and product evaluations. Monitor production processes and identify non-conforming products. Complete quality documentation accurately and on time. Verify calibration of scales, thermometers, and other equipment. Support product trials and first production runs. Communicate quality concerns and corrective actions to production teams. Assist with training new QA team members and maintaining QA workspaces. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. HACCP certification preferred. Food manufacturing, QA, or food safety experience preferred. Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, allergen control, and food safety programs preferred. Ability to work overtime and flexible schedules as needed. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Work in temperatures ranging from -44°F to 90°F for short periods. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Lift and move products up to 50 pounds. Exposure to allergens including fish, shellfish, tree nuts, eggs, wheat, soy, and dairy. Manufacturing environment with machinery, noise, wet conditions, and food production activities. #INDNashua
