Quality Control Assistant (Entry Level) Crispy Green, Inc. - 5.0 Fairfield, NJ Job Details Part-time $17 - $19 an hour 14 hours ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Filing Attention to detail Associate's degree Document management systems Full Job Description Crispy Green, Inc.,a leader in the healthy fruit snacks sector with a 20-year record of success, is currently seeking a part-time Quality Control Assistant to join our high-energy, diverse and collegial team based in Fairfield, NJ. Position Summary The Quality Control Assistant provides administrative and operational support for the company's quality control and compliance activities. This role assists with product inspections, supplier documentation management, laboratory testing coordination, customer complaint tracking, and recordkeeping. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of following established procedures while working closely with the Supply Chain Compliance Specialist and management team. Key Responsibilities Supplier Compliance Support Monitor supplier certifications and document expiration dates. Maintain supplier compliance files and records. Product Inspection Support Assist with product inspections following established procedures. Verify packaging, labels, lot codes, and expiration dates. Laboratory Testing Coordination Prepare testing request forms as directed. Track laboratory testing status and results. Customer Complaint Administration Monitor customer complaints and quality issue databases. Enter and update complaint records. Documentation & Recordkeeping Organize and maintain quality and supplier documentation. Maintain electronic and hard-copy filing systems. Qualifications Associate degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred. Skills & Experience Strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently while following established procedures. Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Ability to learn new systems and software quickly. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
