Overview Join our road salt company as a Weighmaster, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring accurate weight measurement, inventory control, and seamless shipping and receiving operations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with office staff and transportation providers to maintain efficiency and compliance. From December to April, we have the ability for heavy overtime including Saturdays and some Sundays. Responsibilities Accurately weigh inbound and outbound shipments using specialized scales Record weight data precisely into inventory management software and scale systems, maintaining real-time tracking of stock levels. Manage shipping logistics by coordinating load pickups, ensuring proper handling of road salt Maintain accurate data entry records, update daily public weigh ogs, and generate reports for management review. Experience Proven experience working in terminal operations or distribution centers with familiarity in inventory and ticketing management software. Strong understanding of shipping logistics and load & unload procedures. Basic math skills for calculating weights, measurements, and quantities accurately. Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with team members and external carriers and customers. Prior experience with scale software and public weighing, preferred.
