This is a great opportunity for a laboratory professional who enjoys hands-on testing, problem-solving, and making sure products meet quality standards before they reach customers. If you have experience in fragrance, flavor, cosmetics, personal care, specialty chemicals, or consumer products , we want to hear from you! What You'll Do Test incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications Perform laboratory testing including Specific Gravity, Refractive Index, Melting Point, and Gas Chromatography (GC) Conduct basic sensory and olfactive evaluations Generate Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and specification documentation Review and approve products for release Investigate out-of-specification materials and testing results Assist with customer complaints and quality investigations Maintain accurate QC laboratory records and documentation Follow established chemical handling and laboratory safety procedures Partner with Operations, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other internal teams Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient laboratory environment What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related scientific field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and recent, relevant industry experience is required 1+ years of QC laboratory experience Experience testing raw materials and finished products Strong laboratory documentation and record-keeping skills Basic sensory or olfactive evaluation skills Experience handling chemicals and following laboratory safety procedures Familiarity with analytical laboratory equipment and testing methods Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work occasional Saturdays as needed Experience That Stands Out We're especially interested in candidates with QC laboratory experience within: Fragrance manufacturing Flavor manufacturing Cosmetic manufacturing Personal care products Specialty chemicals Consumer products Experience with Gas Chromatography (GC), Specific Gravity, Refractive Index, Melting Point, COA generation, and product release testing is highly preferred.
