Job Description

Erdner 3PL provides customized transportation, warehousing, distribution, and development solutions for one of the world's largest energy companies. Due to tremendous growth, Erdner 3PL currently has an opening for an Quality Specialist at its distribution center in Logan Township, NJ.
QUALITY SPECIALIST
Works independently of operations, assumes the role of the client, provides thought leadership and reports findings accurately with an unbiased approach Quality inspects outbound orders Performs quality audits and contributes the root cause, corrective action and preventive action processes Investigates client complaints Assists (or manages) in reporting incidents and managing reworks Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time Must be able to lift 50 pounds Be able to work independently and make good use of time Must be able to work mandatory overtime Must have basic computer skills and knowledge of warehouse management systems Must be able to inspect product and ensure quality product is being shipped Responsible for identifying any quantity discrepancies before orders leave the facility Ability to identify and communicate non-conforming product or situations that could lead to undesirable results or client satisfaction concerns Maintain a clean and organized work environment Bring forward opportunities for improvement Ability to use a calculator along with basic math skills
