The Quality Control Technician provides support to the Quality Department through collecting and analyzing samples, and performing and documenting facility checks.
Job Duties:
Collecting product samples, sending samples out for testing or to customers, and performing in house analysis Maintaining and organizing samples and incoming material paperwork Perform sanitation inspections on equipment Perform calibration checks on equipment Communicate with other departments on quality related concerns Practice and adhere to the established standard operating procedures and policies Adhere to regulations on food safety, food quality, and good manufacturing practices Identify and report food safety and quality issues (non conformances/out of specification product) Work with management to maintain food safety and food quality, and communicate any related concerns Complete paperwork and sampling in a timely manner General filing for Quality Department Ensure required documentation is filled out clearly and accurately, following good documentation practices Review test results and assist with generating certificate of analysis on released batches Assist with recording and tracking test result data Maintain a clean and organized work area Dress out in company supplied PPE as required in designated areas Perform other duties as needed Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience working in a food manufacturing facility or experience in quality preferred
  • Perform basic math functions: add, subtract, multiply, divide, percentages, fractions
  • Computer literate using
Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, Outlook
