Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician / Production Assistant to support our production and quality teams. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet customer specifications, performing inspections, and assisting with production operations and quality processes. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensure all products meet customer specifications and quality requirements Follow all quality department procedures, SOPs, and production work instructions Read and interpret customer drawings, prints, and specifications Assist the Production Supervisor with daily operations Participate in shift pass-down meetings Use measuring tools, gauges, and testing equipment to inspect products Perform first article inspections prior to production approval Conduct in-process and final quality inspections Collect molded product samples throughout the shift for inspection Provide feedback to production and other departments on quality results Verify production quantities, packaging, and labeling accuracy Complete final inspection documentation (C of C, inspection reports, material certificates) Train and guide production operators on acceptable vs. non-acceptable parts Assist with onboarding and training of new employees Support production operations, including operating molding machines when needed Monitor production schedules and output Maintain historical retain samples/library Assist Quality Manager with NCRs, CAPAs, and RMAs Recommend process improvements within the Quality Management System (QMS) Requirements Minimum of 1 year of related experience in manufacturing or quality Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment preferred Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Pay is $18-$22
DOE Shift:
M-F 1:45pm-10:15pm
