Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years of inventory control, warehouse inventory systems, or order management system experience in a high-volume distribution environment Previous forklift or material handling equipment experience preferred Basic clerical, data entry, and computer skills required Job Duties Investigate inventory discrepancies and bin location variances Research problem orders, receipts, and inventory issues Maintain accurate inventory counts and inventory records Enter and update inventory data within the warehouse management system Perform cycle counts and product audits Ensure quality assurance standards and procedures are followed Stage and organize materials in designated warehouse locations Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely Maintain inventory and bin accuracy to minimize shrinkage Complete required documentation and system transactions Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Previous quality inspection, quality assurance, manufacturing, or production experience is preferred. Technical training in manufacturing, quality assurance, or inspection procedures is beneficial. Experience performing first article, in-process, or final product inspections is beneficial. Knowledge of ISO standards, statistical process control, quality documentation, or corrective action procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate accuracy, professionalism, and a commitment to producing high-quality work are well positioned for success as a Inventory Control Associate. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform inspection activities throughout the shift. Ability to lift products or materials weighing up to 50 pounds when required. Ability to use precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment with accuracy. Ability to maintain visual focus and attention to detail while inspecting products in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
