Position Summary The Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, customer specifications, work instructions, and quality standards. This position works closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality personnel to identify and resolve manufacturing or product-quality issues. Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections. Inspect wire, cable, connectors, and cable assemblies for workmanship and dimensional compliance. Review drawings, specifications, work instructions, routers, and inspection requirements. Use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and optical inspection devices. Perform visual inspections for defects, damage, workmanship, and proper identification. Verify materials, dimensions, quantities, labeling, and required documentation. Record inspection results accurately in inspection reports and company systems. Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material. Assist with nonconformance reports, corrective actions, and root-cause investigations. Confirm that measuring and test equipment has current calibration. Review Certificates of Conformance and supplier documentation. Support first-article inspections when required. Maintain organized and complete quality records. Follow AS9100 procedures and all company safety and quality requirements. Communicate quality concerns promptly to supervisors and management. Assist with customer, supplier, and internal audits as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous quality-inspection or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience in wire, cable, electronics, aerospace, defense, or a related manufacturing environment is a plus. Ability to read drawings, specifications, and manufacturing instructions. Familiarity with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and inspection equipment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic computer and data-entry skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Ability to inspect small parts and identify minor visual defects. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds when necessary. Ability to use hand-held measuring instruments safely and accurately.

Pay:

$25.57 - $30.79 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 per week
