Seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Inspector for an aerospace manufacturer. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience as a Mechanical Inspector within a manufacturing environment. Requirements Utilize various measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to accurately measure dimensions. Conduct visual inspections to identify any defects or abnormalities in the products Analyze test data and inspection results to identify trends or areas for improvement Collaborate with production teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions Conduct quality audits to ensure adherence to quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures Document inspection findings, maintain accurate records, and prepare detailed reports for management review Performing and Approving the quality of raw materials before manufacturing begins Read and understand blueprints and specifications Monitor or observe operations to ensure that they meet production standards Accept or reject finished items Remove all products and materials that fail to meet specifications Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products Report inspection and test data Responsible for incoming, in-process, and final inspection.
