Our client, a leading precision manufacturing company , is looking to hire a Quality Control Technician in East Aurora, NY .
Pay Rate Range:
$19.17
53 per hour + $2/hour shift differential
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and production requirements. Monitor production operations to ensure products meet quality standards. Inspect, test, and measure materials and finished products. Use calipers, gauges, CMMs, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment. Accept or reject finished products based on established specifications. Identify and remove products or materials that do not meet specifications. Recommend adjustments to assembly and production processes. Discuss inspection results with production and other responsible personnel. Report inspection and test data accurately and maintain quality documentation. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner. Perform gauge calibration and maintain accurate calibration records. Learn and assist with CMM and other measuring equipment programming. Support continuous improvement and quality control initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Control Technician, or in a relevant role. Strong attention to detail and results-driven approach. Familiarity with quality testing equipment and inspection systems. Experience using calipers, gauges, CMMs, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools. Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies. Quality certifications such as ISO 9000 or AS9100 are a strong advantage. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to work 2nd shift, Monday-Friday, 4:15 PM-2:15 AM . Must be available for overtime and maintain a flexible schedule . Veterans are encouraged to apply.
