Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Additional duties may be assigned.
  • Researches quality issues, facilitate Mfg. and Suppliers with root cause investigation, and suggest possible corrective action alternative(s) as appropriate.
  • Works directly with Suppliers, Customers, and EG personnel in order to assure that quality issues are adequately communicated and documented.
  • Participates in the review of discrepant material including product from suppliers, the field, and EG manufactured products. Work with the MRB group to assess value, condition / damage, and make sound decisions as to rework, scrap, repair etc.
  • Works with QA, Engineering and Manufacturing Personnel who are engaged in the measurement and testing product, or the tabulation of data concerning materials, product, or process quality and reliability.
  • Uses a variety of instruments, including micrometers, depth gauges, and general layout instruments and related devices for adherence to drawing specifications.
  • Follows standard procedure to inspect produced and purchased parts using specified sampling plan.
  • Completes inspection records and forms.
  • Evaluates data and writes brief reports as requested to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
  • Makes basic inspection set-ups to check interrelated dimensions.
  • Delivers carts, skids and boxes of completed work to the next operation.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
Education:
Associate's degree or 1-2 years' experience in a quality related field.
Required Knowledge:
Microsoft Office, Databases, Crystal Reports, Minitab, Visio.

Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour
