Duties and Responsibilities:
Read blueprints, schematics, and specifications, to perform inspections on a variety of products including hose assemblies and government kits Use measurement tools to determine compliance with the hose order specifications and quality control standards Review all paperwork done by Production staff, to ensure correct components were used to build hose orders Label all completed orders, while simultaneously cross-checking paperwork again for accuracy Maintain records and documentation of the quality activities, assuring accuracy
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required Prior machine shop experience is preferred Ability to read a tape measure and good math skills required Ability to interact well with various departments within the organization
Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to detail Works well in a team environment Proficient in Microsoft Office, including

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: Speak clearly and hear. Be comfortable staying on their feet for most of the day. This is a hands-on position, with little time spent at a desk. Bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
