Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will inspect materials, machine parts, sheet metal components, and finished products to ensure they meet Aerospace & Defense industry standards and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience performing dimensional inspections, reading engineering drawings, using precision measuring instruments, and maintaining accurate quality documentation while working closely with Production, Quality Engineering, and Quality Management teams. Key Responsibilities Perform First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspections of manufactured parts. Complete First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and Final Inspection documentation. Inspect incoming raw materials and components received from outside suppliers. Verify parts meet blueprint, engineering drawing, and customer specifications using appropriate measuring equipment. Calibrate inspection tools and gauges while maintaining calibration records. Prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs) and place non-conforming material in quarantine when required. Review travelers and production documentation for completeness and accuracy. Perform inspections according to AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) requirements. Work closely with Quality Engineering and Quality Management to resolve quality issues. Assist with audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Help maintain accurate inspection records and ensure the timely movement of products through inspection. Qualifications Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment. Experience performing First Piece, In-Process, and Final Inspections. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment. Experience with calibration of gauges and measuring tools. Ability to document inspection results and non-conformance reports. Experience working with Quality Management Systems. Machine shop and sheet metal inspection experience is strongly preferred. Aerospace or Defense manufacturing experience is a plus. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Pay:

$34.00 - $38.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
