Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through rigorous inspection, measurement, and compliance activities. Responsibilities Conduct dimensional measurements using precision tools such as height gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications. Perform quality inspections on manufactured parts and assemblies, ensuring adherence to
ISO 13485, ISO 9001, GMP, FDA
regulations, and other relevant quality standards. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents accurately to identify deviations from design specifications. Execute quality audits and assessments across production lines to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards. Utilize measurement instruments and data collection tools to record quality metrics systematically for analysis and reporting. Support calibration activities for measuring instruments and ensure all equipment maintains calibration status according to industry standards. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions aligned with HACCP, CGMP, and other quality management systems. Skills Strong knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001), GMP practices, FDA regulations, and regulatory/legal compliance standards in production environments. Proficiency in using coordinate measuring machines (CMM), height gauges, vision inspection systems, and other measuring instruments for dimensional analysis. Mechanical knowledge including blueprint interpretation, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), mechanical measurements, and precision machining techniques. Experience with quality control processes such as visual inspection systems, quality audits, data collection, and analysis skills. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, production documentation interpretation, and understanding of quality standards in production environments. Basic math skills combined with attention to detail for accurate measurement recording and analysis. Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately while maintaining a focus on regulatory compliance standards like FDA regulations.
