Operator Pay:
$28-$40 per hour based on experience
Night Shift:
12% shift differential for night shift Overtime opportunities availablePotential to earn $100,000+ annually with overtime Option for a 4-day workweek with no required overtime Full-Time We are looking for an experienced CMM Programmer / Operator to join a precision manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone with CMM inspection experience who enjoys working with precision parts, drawings, and CAD models. You will be responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment, checking finished parts for accuracy, and making sure components meet customer and engineering requirements. This position works closely with production and quality teams to identify and resolve inspection issues. What You'll Be Doing as a CMM Programmer /
Operator:
Program and operate CMM equipment to inspect precision-manufactured parts Build inspection programs using PC-DMIS and/or Verisurf Work from 2D drawings and 3D CAD models Measure parts and verify that they meet required dimensions and tolerances Review drawings and apply GD&T requirements Make adjustments to existing inspection programs to improve efficiency Perform first-piece and final inspections Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, and gauges Troubleshoot inspection programs and measurement issues Communicate inspection results with production, quality, and management Help identify potential quality issues and assist with resolving them Perform routine CMM maintenance and gauge calibration Assist with inspection fixtures and other quality-related projects Operate an overhead crane when needed to move larger parts or fixtures What We're Looking For in a CMM Programmer /
Operator:
At least 3 years of CMM programming and inspection experience PC-DMIS experience is required Experience working with CAD and 3D models Ability to read and understand engineering drawings Experience with GD&T and tight-tolerance inspection Comfortable using standard precision measuring equipment Experience working in a manufacturing or quality environment Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work well with a team
A Plus, But Not Required:
Verisurf experience Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience Machining or tooling experience Experience with NX, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or similar CAD software Experience with DEA or Renishaw CMM equipment CMM Programmer /
Operator Compensation & Schedule:
$28-$40 per hour , depending on experience 12% shift differential for night shift Overtime opportunities available Potential to earn $100,000+ annually with overtime Option for a 4-day workweek with no required overtime Day and night shift opportunities CMM Programmer /
