AM Contract:
W2 though staffing, 6-month contract only ( Pay rate:
USD 25-30
per hour We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Quality Inspector for our Extrusion facility. You will provide real-time oversight on the production floor, ensuring all products meet strict quality, dimensional, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities Inspections:
Perform visual and dimensional checks on tubing using video microscopes and measurement software.
Production Support:
Verify line clearance, material accuracy, and branding before production start-up.
Documentation:
Review production records for accuracy and generate Certificates of Conformance (CoC).
Quality Control:
Identify and segregate nonconforming products; escalate process or quality issues immediately.
Compliance:
Support ISO standards, calibration activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to use measurement tools and software.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical problem-solving, clear communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience:
Background:
Prior Quality Inspection experience, specifically in a regulated environment (ISO or cGMP).
Knowledge:
Familiarity with extrusion processes and quality system best practices.
Flexibility:
Willingness to cover 1st or 3rd shifts as needed. Daily Workflow Snapshot The majority of your day involves routine quality checks on extrusion lines. You will collect samples, measure them against work order specifications, and inspect for visual defects (scratches, burns, or color issues).
