Specialist Quality Audit AKR Roechling Automotive - 2.8 Akron, OH Job Details 1 day ago Qualifications Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Perform first-piece inspections and dimensional measurements to support production approval processes. Conduct initial part inspections using fixtures, calipers, indicators, gauges, and other measuring instruments. Identify, escalate, and help contain nonconforming materials on the production floor to prevent quality issues. Perform incoming material inspections and complete all required documentation. Conduct outgoing product inspections and generate inspection reports. Identify and escalate supplier quality concerns to the appropriate teams. Manage and maintain containment areas for nonconforming materials. Calibrate, maintain, and verify measuring instruments, gauges, calipers, and other inspection equipment. Complete additional inspection, testing, and measurement activities as assigned. Support workplace organization, cleanliness, and 6S initiatives. Assist with continuous improvement activities and other quality-related duties as needed. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive manufacturing industry and plastic parts environment preferred. Experience using measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, and CMM equipment. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills Knowledge of automotive quality systems and inspection processes. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to interpret specifications, drawings, and quality requirements.
