Job Description

Responsibilities The Construction Materials Professional (Part-Time) supports construction materials testing projects through technical execution, project coordination, and client service activities on a part-time or flexible basis. This role performs field and office-based tasks, including testing, reporting, and project support, while developing technical and project management skills. The Construction Materials Professional contributes to project delivery and client interaction while maintaining a positive customer service attitude and demonstrating ECS Core Values. Responsibilities Supports management of construction materials testing projects through field and office-based activities Performs or assists with testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, structural steel, fireproofing, and asphalt Reviews field reports and supports documentation accuracy and completeness Assists with project coordination, scheduling, and communication Monitors project progress for performance and budget considerations Prepares invoices, proposals, and project-related documentation Supports marketing and business development activities Attends project meetings and assists with resolution of technical and administrative issues Provides general technical and administrative support as needed Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications 0 years of related experience High school diploma or GED required Bachelor of Science in any of the multi-disciplined Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Materials Science Engineering, Architectural Engineering, and Geology is preferred If driving for or on behalf of any ECS subsidiary, a valid driver's license is required Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Basic knowledge of construction materials testing principles (preferred) Ability to work independently and in a team environment Developing project management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Basic understanding of construction processes and materials Military Qualifications The following US Military ranks will qualify for this position IF they also meet the education, certification, and licenses requirements from the above section titled "Required Qualifications": E-4 About Us ECS Group of Companies (ECS) was founded in 1988 with the goal to raise the standards of professional engineering consulting.
