Job Description Job Description Quality Inspector Pay:
$25 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. You will be responsible for inspecting materials and products, documenting results, identifying non-conforming parts, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within a metal fabrication environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections and document results accurately. Perform dock audits prior to shipments. Measure and verify product specifications using quality inspection tools and equipment. Tag, document, and coordinate disposition of non-conforming materials and parts. Inspect incoming materials for compliance with specifications and quality standards. Complete quality reports, logs, and database entries accurately and on time. Monitor inspection equipment and report calibration or repair needs. Follow all work instructions, company policies, and safety procedures. Report quality concerns, safety hazards, machine issues, and defective parts promptly. Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain organized work areas. Participate in training and professional development opportunities as assigned. Required Skills Must have experience with G D & T and
ISO 9001
2015 Experience with quality inspection methods and procedures in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment. Effective documentation and recordkeeping skills. Basic computer skills for data entry and quality tracking. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Visual ability to inspect parts and read measurements accurately. Manual dexterity and physical stamina to work in a manufacturing setting.
