Shift PQT Location:
Eaton, OH, 45320 Position Overview The 2nd Shift PQT supports Production Associatess. This role plays a key part in supporting the 6S program and assisting the Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Supervisor, or Quality Engineer to ensure accurate data collection, proper documentation, and maintenance of a highly successful Quality Department. Key Responsibilities Support Production Associates Provide training and implement quality improvement activities across the production floor. Support and lead 6S program activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Assist Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Supervisor, or Quality Engineer by ensuring accurate data collection for sort activities and supplier issues. Maintain proper documentation to support quality processes and departmental objectives. Create and distribute Quality Alerts and Sort Operations communications. Contain suspect product and coordinate collection and confirmation of sort results. Identify sorted product and perform First Article confirmation including color, gloss, weight, and dimensional checks. Follow up on out-of-specification conditions and assist in problem data collection and root cause analysis. Support departmental objectives by ensuring effective communication and execution of quality-related activities. Perform other tasks as assigned to support the Quality Department and production goals. Skills & Qualifications Strong understanding of quality assurance processes and production support. Experience with new model event handling and training delivery. Knowledge of 6S principles and ability to lead related activities. Ability to accurately collect, analyze, and maintain quality data and documentation. Effective communication skills for creating and distributing quality alerts and operational instructions. Detail-oriented with the ability to identify and contain suspect products. Capable of performing First Article inspections including color, gloss, weight, and dimensional verification. Problem-solving skills to assist in root cause analysis and quality improvement initiatives. Team player with flexibility to perform additional tasks as needed.
