Job Description

Quality Technician Location:
Eaton, OH, 45320 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to support our internal teams, customers, and suppliers in maintaining and improving quality standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality through documentation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position may also be required to perform other tasks as assigned. Key Responsibilities Support internal, customer, and supplier requirements to improve and maintain quality standards. Maintain and update Quality Documents including Data Sheets, Control Plans, and pFMEA. Support departmental objectives related to quality and continuous improvement. Create and communicate Quality Alerts to relevant stakeholders. Lead containment activities for suspect products, including collection and confirmation of sort results. Follow up on out-of-specification conditions and lead problem data collection efforts. Lead root cause analysis and communicate findings along with problem countermeasures to Customer Quality Engineers (QE). Communicate change points and confirm countermeasures with Customer QEs. Lead kaizen activities as necessary to achieve quality control targets. Provide technician development and leadership to enhance team capabilities. Lead 6S activities to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Qualifications & Skills Strong understanding of quality standards and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with quality documentation such as Data Sheets, Control Plans, and pFMEA. Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, customers, and suppliers. Leadership skills to guide technicians and lead kaizen and 6S initiatives. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities. Additional Information This position may require performing other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the quality department and company objectives.
