Job Description

Minutemen Staffing is currently looking for a Experienced Quality Control Technicians Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm, Pay rate is between $16-$17 based on experience. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that plastic injection molded products meet company quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting products, monitoring production processes, identifying defects, and working with the production team to maintain high-quality output. Key Responsibilities Inspect plastic injection molded parts during production and before shipment. Perform visual and dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Identify defects such as flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burn marks, and color variations. Verify products meet customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation. Report non-conforming products and assist in root cause analysis. Work closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues. Conduct first article, in-process, and final inspections. Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and safety regulations. Assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain cleanliness and organization of the inspection area. Qualifications Experience in quality control within a plastic injection molding manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of plastic molding processes and common product defects. Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measuring equipment. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Standing for extended periods. Ability to lift materials or products as required (typically up to 25-50 lbs, depending on company policy).
