- The Continuous Improvement Quality Inspector will perform quality evaluations of products and processes to ensure compliance with the requirements and standards of our Quality Management System. Responsible for leading projects and improving manufacturing processes utilizing Continuous Improvement techniques and principles to reduce waste, improve productivity, and increase enterprise value.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- + Inspects and tests materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- + Strong analytical skills + Ability to read engineering blueprints + Ability to use various types of measurement systems and inspection tools and learn new ones as needed. + Close attention to detail. + Basic computer operation skills. + Basic understanding and ability to use Microsoft Office and similar software products. + Works as a self-starter with minimal supervision.
Education and Experience:
- + High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred. + Minimum 3 years of experience in working in a manufacturing environment. + 5 years of experience in product and process evaluation preferred. + 3 years of experience in using various measurement tools and systems preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- + Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.
