Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Inspector is responsible for monitoring and documenting the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts and the quantity of parts produced. The Inspector is also responsible for the proper segregation and identification of poor quality product, and for sorting product according to specified criteria.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Monitor and document the aesthetic quality (color, visual defects) of anodized parts. Monitor the quantity of parts produced compared to production schedule. Record production quantities in Syteline. Provide timely and complete communication to Line Operators, Crew Leader, Process Assistant and all other impacted operations and functional teams regarding quality issues and quantity shortages. Provide adequate and relevant information to incoming shift team members. Ensure proper packaging of each part per job card, including accurate number of parts per box, boxes per skid and proper packaging materials. Ensure all required customer order quantities are met Print all necessary production reports, labels, and job cards using SyteLine ERP system. Complete data entry activities as needed. Maintain a clean work area. Perform all other duties as needed.
