This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with consistent hours and a strong focus on product quality.

Temp-to-Hire As a Quality Inspector, you'll perform quality assurance activities to ensure products meet or exceed customer and internal requirements. You'll support quality checks across one or more areas, such as: Wax batch approvals & sample inspection (documentation, data entry/validation, maintaining inspection standards) Incoming component inspection (to approved standards, recordkeeping, maintaining incoming inspection standards) In-process and finished goods inspection (pack-out and inventory checks against standards) You'll also help with logging results (paper and/or computer), supporting QA data collection, and assisting QA leadership with projects. Key Responsibilities Support quality-related needs in a manufacturing environment (candles/home fragrance products) Verify quality vs. standard operating procedures (wax, wicks, fill weights, wick centering, labeling, cleanliness, etc.) Monitor and help confirm corrective/preventive actions are effective and sustainable Evaluate efficiency standards and track performance toward targets Track and report issues and support corrective actions as directed Support testing processes (BME & EU), including: logging samples into the database printing testing forms and ID barcodes assisting with "zero-cure burns" and other testing Inspect finished candles at pack-out against customer requirements Prepare and distribute samples to internal/customer/3rd-party test facilities and communicate daily distribution lists Help maintain a safe work environment through communication, audits, tracking, and feedback Collect data, maintain metrics, monitor trends, and report to supervision Keep performance standards visible and understood across production and QA teams Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent standing/walking; using hands; reaching; talking/hearing/smelling May occasionally kneel, crouch, sit, climb, or balance Lift 25 lbs independently; 50+ lbs with assistance Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment Exposure to moving mechanical parts, aromas, and occasional airborne particles Noise level is usually moderate Masis Staffing is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
