Personal Care / Beauty / Fashion Retail A leading personal care, beauty, and fashion retailer is seeking a Quality Lab Contractor to provide hands-on operational and administrative support to its Quality team. This role will assist with product audits, quality investigations, sample and standards management, product testing, and general laboratory coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working with physical product samples, and experienced in a quality, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse, or product inspection environment . This position works closely with Quality Engineers and Quality Operations team members to ensure accurate documentation and efficient execution of product quality activities. Key Responsibilities Perform routine product audits and inspections according to established procedures and accurately document results in quality systems. Communicate audit findings and assist the Quality team with follow-up activities and investigations. Process and release products from Quality Management (QM) hold status as directed. Review, organize, and manage first-production and retained product samples. Maintain product standards, reference materials, and Product Design References (PDRs) . Monitor standards inventory and coordinate the disposal of expired or obsolete materials. Assist with product testing, evaluations, visual assessments, and other activities related to quality investigations. Photograph and document product conditions when needed. Support product sorting, rework, containment activities, and root-cause investigations. Gather samples and data needed for quality assessments and enter quality notification information into SAP . Maintain laboratory data, logs, databases, tracking systems, and product records. Coordinate incoming and outgoing laboratory shipments and materials. Support laboratory organization, inventory management, sample disposition, and general day-to-day Quality operations. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience within a quality, laboratory, manufacturing, warehouse, product inspection, or similar environment . Familiarity with quality systems, product audits/inspections, or sample management . Experience with data-entry, quality-management, or related software; SAP experience is beneficial . Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow established procedures. Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physical Requirements This is a hands-on, onsite position that requires the ability to lift and move product samples and materials; stand, walk, and bend during routine laboratory activities; and organize a high volume of product samples and reference materials.
