Quality Control Technician Position Summary:
The QC Tech will be responsible for the day-to-day product testing, monitoring, and reporting.

2nd
Shift:
Monday-Thursday 3:00PM - 1:00
AM Overtime:
As needed
Responsibilities:
Check product quality to make sure it meets USDA, FDA, ODA, and company regulations. Testing of package and processed products according to USDA, FDA, ODA and Company regulations. Moisture, color, fat, salt, weight and organoleptic testing. Verification of time and temperatures, packaging seals, packaging code dates. Environmental monitoring and cleaning checks. Monitoring for GMP compliance. Monitoring / testing of ingredients from receiving to shipping. Lab equipment start up and checks. Utilize the hold system. Complete documentation as needed. Reporting any damaged equipment. Fast paced, team-oriented work environment. Factory/warehouse setting. Associates are expected to be here every day they are scheduled be on time and stay for their entire shift. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours/day Must be able to work minimum of 40hrs/week Must be able to work weekends when needed
