Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Assurance Inspector Shift:
1st, Monday-Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, ½ hour unpaid lunch, 2 paid breaks.
Starting Pay:
$20 to $22 per hours
Position Description:
The primary objective of the Quality Assurance Inspector is to ensure that products meet predefined standards and exceed customer expectations. This position involves measuring products against physical specifications, conducting quality tests, and identifying defects. The company is seeking a communicative, detail-oriented, and energetic individual to join the team.
Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards and procedures. Ensure product quality specifications are met by inspecting samples from each lot for defects. Communicate with employees to ensure that job functions are performed with respect to quality standards. Train and observe employees in the use of measuring equipment, ensuring proper use and calibration. Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement verifications, and rejecting unacceptable materials. Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement verifications, and addressing rejection issues per company procedures. Approve finished products by confirming specifications through visual and measurement verifications. Document inspection results by completing inspection reports and rejection documents. Inspectors sign off on the work order/inspection documents when products pass inspection. Inspect assemblies for completeness and accuracy, performing final checks on completed products. Perform calibrations of measuring equipment as per the annual calibration plan. Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA) on the production floor as scheduled.
Qualifications:
Required:
Ability to use hand tools and electronic devices, including micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches. Strong attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to read assembly drawings and follow directions. Skilled in verbal and written communication. Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and various computer applications. Pass a background check and drug screen. Reliable attendance. Positive attitude and respectful of others.
Preferred:
Experience with electrical assembly. Excellent documentation skills. Ability to navigate an array of computer programs. Experience in an
ISO 9001
2015 manufacturing environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts up to 30 lbs. Must be able to stand for extended time periods, up to the entire eight-hour shift. Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working. Good vision required to inspect parts and assemblies.
