The company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and service of plates and gaskets for all makes and models of plate heat exchangers (PHE). These PHEs offer our clients high reliability of heat transfer, low capital investment and installation costs, reducing maintenance, operating costs, wear, and corrosion.

Job Summary:

As a QC Technician I, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. You will work under the guidance of senior QC inspectors to conduct visual inspections, measurements, and tests according to established procedures. This role requires a keen eye for detail, adherence to quality control protocols, and a commitment to maintaining product integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual inspections and dimensional measurements of raw materials, components, and finished products.
• Conduct functional and performance tests on products using standard operating procedures and testing equipment.
• Record inspection and test data accurately in quality control records or electronic databases.
• Identify and report any deviations from specifications, defects, or quality issues to senior QC inspectors or supervisors.
• Assist in investigating quality-related concerns or non-conformances, collaborating with production and quality assurance teams as needed.
• Participate in quality audits and assist in preparing documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area in the inspection department.
• Obtain CPR and First Aid certification; maintain other certifications as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or Vocational/Technical education or certification in a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in quality control or inspection preferred; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles, procedures, and practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using basic computer software (e.

g., Microsoft Office) for data entry and documentation.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects regularly (up to 50 pounds).
• Manual dexterity and ability to handle tools and machinery controls.
• Prolonged periods of standing, bending, and stooping may be required.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions typical of a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment:

• Manufacturing/production floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machining fluids.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

Work Status:

Full Time - Work hours are Monday through Friday and depend on assigned shift. Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
