Manufacturing Full Job Description Overview Job Title:
Repair and Manufacturing Inspector Erie Aviation, Inc. is an FAA Repair and Manufacturing facility seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inspector to join our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and inspecting both newly manufactured components, piece parts made for EAI end units and repaired items to ensure they meet strict standards and regulations. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities Perform Final Inspections on repaired components, following ESD guidelines where applicable, using OEM CMM's, SB's, SIL's, AD's or AC's. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections on incoming materials using various measurement tools. Verify repair status of incoming customer products and included documentation. Approve or reject in-process production and finished goods using Drawings and technical specifications. Document inspection results by completing Work Orders, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Quality Certificates. Collaborate closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Repair, Sales and Shipping/Receiving. Qualifications & Skills Technical degree, certification and/or experience in Quality Control, Electronics and/or Manufacturing is highly preferred. Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc) Comfortable reading Engineering Drawings, including Materials, Finishes and Tolerances. Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with quality management software or ERP systems. What We Offer Competitive pay , commensurate with experience.
