Part-Time Donation Sorter & Electronics Tester Love sorting through donations, figuring out how things work, and finding treasures? We want you! Our nonprofit thrift store is looking for a part-time associate to help sort and process donations, test electronics, price merchandise, and keep things moving in a busy thrift store environment.

What You'll Do:

Sort, price, and prepare donations for the sales floor Test, inspect, and troubleshoot a variety of electronic items Determine quickly whether items are ready for sale, need further testing, or should be set aside Keep merchandise organized and moving efficiently through the processing area Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Assist customers and answer basic questions when needed Occasionally help with other store duties, including the register

Friendly, dependable, and ready to jump in Able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Able to make quick, independent decisions and use good judgment Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable learning how to test and troubleshoot different types of electronics Comfortable using basic technology Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and regularly bend, reach, stand, and move donations Able to work independently while also being a team player Reliable and willing to help wherever needed

Hours:

20-25 hours per week, including some weekends
