This role is a great fit for someone who takes pride in accurate work, understands manufacturing quality standards, and can use inspection tools with confidence! 1st shift Erie, PA (16505) Location Top Reasons to Apply Stable production environment Hands-on quality inspection work Opportunity to support process improvements Work with blueprints, specifications, and precision measuring tools Rewards Medical benefits Paid time off 401(k) Supportive team environment Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous quality inspection or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read blueprints, process sheets, and specifications Experience using rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers Ability to stand for long periods, work in high temperatures, and lift up to 55 lbs. independently or up to 70 lbs. with assistance Ability to wear required PPE, including eye protection, gloves, and safety toe shoes or boots Responsibilities Inspect incoming and outgoing parts, perform first article inspections, and verify products meet customer and production standards. Use measuring tools to identify defects, document inspection results, and determine whether products are accepted, rejected, or removed from production. Communicate quality issues clearly with the Quality Manager, Plant Manager, and production team while helping keep nonconforming parts out of the production area. The Quality Inspector reports to the Quality Manager and supports safe, accurate, and efficient production by following established inspection procedures.
