BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for receipt, in-process, and final inspection of materials, assemblies, and products.
GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform inspection of materials and assemblies sourced from outside suppliers Perform inspection of in-process and finished products Perform inspection of welded joints of assemblies for conformance with applicable weld standards, blueprints, and work order specifications Document results of inspections Work with others within Quality Department and other departments as necessary to communicate and resolve nonconformances and other quality-related issues
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or acceptable equivalent Vocational education in electromechanical technology or similar preferred Ability to operate various measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and tape measures CMM operation experience preferred 1-3 years of quality control experience or similar preferred 1-3 years welding inspection experience preferred Knowledge of
AWS D14.0

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Mix of sitting/standing/walking 8 hours/day Occasional lifting up to 65 pounds Good eyesight, either natural or corrected Occasional stooping and squatting Page Break
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
High mechanical/technical aptitude Ability to interpret technical drawings Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English Computer skills including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and Point Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to investigate and solve problems Excellent organizational abilities Ability to manage many tasks simultaneously Conduct all interactions with customers, vendors, field sales representatives, and coworkers in a focused, positive, courteous, and respectful manner
